• The users have three options in practicing

all modules; Visual, Audio, and Audio-

Visual

• In Visual mode, the numbers appear on the

screen with a short beep tone.

• In Audio mode, the numbers are
pronounced verbally, but they are invisible.

The users are required to make calculations

without seeing the numbers but by hearing

them..

• In Audio-Visual mode, each number is
pronounced verbally as it flashes on the

screen..

• In order to improve their mental calculation

skills with verbally asked problems, users

need to practice in Audio mode.

• However, before going on to Audio mode,

they can practice in Audio-Visual mode as

a preparatory or transitional stage.

• When they feel ready, they can start

working in Audio mode.
